Jake joined the lab in June of 2017 after graduating from Western University. During his last year at Western he completed his honours thesis in the Numerical Cognition Lab. His study looked at number development by investigating the automatic representation of symbolic and non-symbolic magnitudes in grade school children. Jake is interested in how children learn, and the various factors that can lead to the success or impairment of learning in school. Jake hopes to go to graduate school to pursue a degree in clinical child psychology or developmental psychology.
