Danika joined the lab in September 2019 as a research assistant and has contributed to several studies. In April 2020, she was awarded the NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award to research perceptions of language use.
Danika is interested in cognitive development and mental health research. Outside the lab, she is involved with improving mental health literacy and research in Canada. She is currently in the second year of her Master's in Clinical Psychology at York University, researching the experience of mental effort in ADHD.
